Eaglehawk Uniting Church is situated in Peg Leg Rd, Eaglehawk approximately 6.5 km northwest of Bendigo. Eaglehawk has developed from a gold mining tradition which commenced in 1852 with the first church service in the area held at the top of Eaglehawk Gully lead by the Hunt brothers and Edward Hooker. Services:

SUNDAY:
10:00 am Worship in Church at church or by ZOOM
Cornerstone [Sunday School] children join with the adult congregations for the first 15 minutes and then leave for their appropriate classes
6:30 pm Evening Service by ZOOM. Topical DVD and Discussion
1st FRIDAY of Month 6:30 pm: Still in recess.

Activities

WEEKLY:
Tuesday Morning BIBLE STUDY - 10 am - the Church. In recess until February
Tuesday "Food and Care" - Food available between 11 am and 1:00 pm. Having a break until January 10th.
Wednesday Bible Study - 9:30 am - the Preston's during the school term - using the Lectionary readings for the following Sunday with the aid of "Seasons of the Spirit" resources.
Thursday Playgroup is happening but is in recess until February. Thursday morning - see Sheridan or Tracey for more information.

Church Council meets on the first Wednesday of the Month 7 pm in the Meeting Room
ELM Cluster Council meets on the 2nd Tuesday of the Month
MAGs meets 4th Tuesday of each month at 12 noon to approx. 3:00 pm. Please bring lunch to share
Men's Coffee & Conversation is held on the last Friday of each month starting at 10:00 am at various homes of the men of the church.
Women's activity Group will meet on the 3rd Wednesday of the month from 1 pm till 3 in the Meeting Room
Pub Lunch - 4th Sunday of the Month - Various Hotels.
OTHER:

Congregational Meeting. Usually held twice a year or when a special meeting is required. The March/April meeting is usually when all reports and financial statements are received. The second meeting usually in September/October is for consideration of ideas and issues.
